Annual German Club “Wanderwochenende”
A group of Deutschklub members took some weekend time off to enjoy hiking, cooking, and socializing in the nearby mountains. Get involved in German Club, and look for this yearly outing again next fall!
German Club Collects Canned Food on Halloween
Following German Club tradition, Deutschklub members went trick-or-treating for canned foods to contribute to a local food bank. Neighbors of Club organizer, Frankie Wilcox, have learned to expect this request, and came through with extremely generous donations. The annual event was once again very successful as well as a lot of fun!
Stories from the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures can be found in the new College of Liberal Arts magazine: from our name change to the new study abroad program hiking the Camino de Santiago in Spain, stories about students, research about beer, and our new faculty.
The department will host an open house from 3 to 5 p.m. on Nov. 4 in its new renovated conference room, Clark C-101. Students, faculty and staff from other departments are invited to attend the event, which will feature refreshments and activities.
