I was born and raised in Cadiz, Spain, where I completed a three-year program concentrating in Business and Tourism in 1994. After completing this program, I lived and worked in both England and Germany studying German and English as well as gaining a new appreciation for cultures different than my own. In 2005, I moved to Fort Collins. I have since graduated with a Bachelor of Art in Languages, Literatures and Cultures with concentration in Spanish and a Master degree in Spanish at CSU. While working at CSU, I have discovered my new passion in life: teaching. I enjoy sharing my culture and enthusiasm for languages with my students. They have helped me to be patient, fun, enthusiastic and creative with the language.

Nominated in 2014 for the CSU Alumni Association Best Teacher Award.

Recipient of the 2014 College of Liberal Art Curricular Innovation Award.

Fellow of the Faculty Institute for Inclusive Excellence (2016)
