At the undergraduate level, students can pursue a Major in Languages, Literatures and Cultures, with concentrations in Spanish, French and German, as well as a Teacher Licensure in French, German or Spanish. Students can study Minor Concentrations in Languages, Literatures and Cultures in Spanish, French, German, Japanese, and Chinese, as well as Interdisciplinary Minors in Arabic, Italian, and Russian, which are offered through the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures. Students can also take classes in American Sign Language and Latin. Furthermore, students can choose other Interdisciplinary Minors such as Linguistics and Culture (English), Film Studies (Communication), Latin American and Caribbean Studies (Political Science), Women’s Studies, International Development Studies, and Peace and Reconciliation Studies. These Interdisciplinary Minors are hosted within other CSU departments and the faculty at the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures contributes to them through their expertise and course offerings.
