What has been your favorite part of attending CSU?
My favorite part of attending CSU is the community I got to build with my peers and mentors.
Any professors you’ll miss and enjoyed taking classes with?
It is a bit hard to choose a professor when they all have been amazing!
Biggest lesson/accomplishment as an LLC student?
My biggest accomplishment as an LLC student is graduating!
Post-grad career plans or goals?
I plan to work in student affairs at CSU the Monday following commencement! I hope to someday return to Graduate School to become a High School Counselor.
Anyone you’d like to thank?
Kate Freiheiter
Double Major in Health and Exercise Science & Spanish
What has been your favorite part of attending CSU?
My favorite part of attending CSU has been the ability to meet so many new people, and attend so many events that are each unique and rewarding in their own way.
Any professors you’ll miss and enjoyed taking classes with?
One professor I will miss is Antonio Pedrós-Gascón, who was the professor/leader on the Camino Study Abroad. He is truly the kindest and most supportive professor I have ever had. He completely changed my experience at CSU, and my outlook on life for the better.
Biggest lesson/accomplishment as an LLC student?
My biggest accomplishment as an LLC student was participating in a study abroad program that challenged not only my Spanish abilities, but also my mental and physical abilities. I will forever be grateful for the ability to explore and experience Spain with a group of amazing students, and Professor Pedrós-Gascón.
Post-grad career plans or goals?
I am currently applying to a variety of Master’s in Nursing Programs, with the hope of becoming a Nurse Practitioner in Labor & Delivery.
Anyone you’d like to thank?
I would like to acknowledge and thank my mom and dad who have instilled in me the power of knowledge and education, and the importance of stepping out of your comfort zone in order to grow and experience the world.
Claire Johnson
Double Major in History and French

My favorite part of CSU was the people I met. I have made some really amazing lifelong friends and I was really supported by the faculty. They have been paramount in creating an environment where I feel comfortable and encouraged to grow and learn.

Dr. O’Dell, Dr. Vogl, Dr. Grim, and Dr. Hoffman.
Biggest lesson/accomplishment as an LLC student?
