Day of the Dead
Honoring our deceased ancestors is a common ritual in many cultures. Celebrating their life takes different expressions in different languages. Mexico’s Day of the Dead (October 31st, November 1st, and 2nd) is a known worldwide tradition.
As the most diverse department at CSU, LLC wants to take this opportunity to celebrate the Day of the Dead in a transcultural setting. For this reason, we are opening a collective altar in which you can honor your deceased loved ones.
We plan to celebrate this special moment in person on Friday, November 1st, from 11 am to 1 pm. The gathering will happen in SLC Plaza, with a community altar for our loved ones. The LLC Department will provide Coffee and cookies.
