Biography
Angel is an MA student in Languages, Literatures, and Cultures at Colorado State University. He graduated with honors from Universidad Pedagógica Nacional Francisco Morazán with a BA in English Language Teaching.
He has experience teaching English as a second language at the primary and secondary school levels, and he has also taught various levels of corporate English to banking executives.
He has worked as a medical interpreter (English-Spanish).
He also has experience teaching Spanish as a second language to university students at Colorado State University. He has taught the following courses:
– LSPA 100 (First-Year Spanish I)
– LSPA 201 (Second-Year Spanish II)
– LSPA 310 (Approaches to Spanish Literature)
– LSPA 335 (Issues in Hispanic Culture)
His interests include Languages for Specific Purposes, applied linguistics, and task-based language teaching. He’s currently conducting research on Language Needs Analysis within the field of Spanish for Specific Purposes in the United States.
