Center for Language for Specific Purposes Education & Research (CLEaR)
Rooted in CSU’s land-grant mission, CLEaR leads the development of evidence-based Languages for Specific Purposes (LSP) curricula, language needs research, training, and consulting. The center collaborates across disciplines and leverages emerging technologies to improve language learning and communication in professional settings. CLEaR’s programs include undergraduate and graduate programming, preparing students and professionals to communicate effectively in specialized fields and diverse communities.

Confluencia
Confluencia is a journal which publishes scholarly articles and notes in Spanish, Portuguese and English. It encompasses the three principal areas of the Hispanic world: Spain, Latin America and the United States. The first edition was published Fall 1985 at the University of Northern Colorado. Since Fall 2020, the journal has move to Colorado State University.

MENA
Despite its global significance, the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) remains one of the most poorly understood regions for Americans. This online web resource, developed through funding by the Carl A. Bimson Endowment for the Humanities, aims to provide resources for educators in the United States and the West who wish to combat the spread of harmful stereotypes and misinformation about the MENA region.
