CSU graduates first D.V.M. class with Spanish for Veterinary Professionals certificate

In a first-of-its-kind collaboration between the Colorado State University College of Liberal Arts and the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, the first class of D.V.M. students graduated in May with a certificate in Spanish for Veterinary Professionals.

Researching Spanish language needs at veterinary clinics

Through a grant from PetSmart Charities, Edward Sarasty Salazar is working as a graduate research assistant to improve access to veterinary care for Spanish-speaking pet owners. His work will contribute to the development of a curriculum of Spanish for Veterinarians.
